February Paper Pad Club Inspiration with Julee Tilman

Cottage Comforts books and coffee

Mixing and matching previously released paper pads with the current Paper Pad Club

Hello friends! Today I am excited to share a card created using the Cottage Comforts paper and ephemera from this month's Not 2 Shabby Paper Pad Club! Inspired by the charming book stack image, I wanted to make a books and coffee card.  I incorporated the cup of milk and bread loaf ephemera piece, which I selectively colored with Copic markers to resemble coffee. Then I fussy cut just the cup. These elements are grounded on a shelf image, complemented by a vase of flowers.

I love how well all of Not 2 Shabby's products complement each other, so looked to the Books Galore paper pack for the books and coffee sentiment. Since this paper pack is laser printed, the sentiments are perfect for foiling with a laminator or Minc machine. I die-cut the sentiment using the small square from the EZ Wonder Die #1 Add Ons and then foiled with champagne foil. The coffee beans were further detailed with brown markers, to tie in the browns from the shelf and coffee.

The large square from the EZ Wonder Die #1 Add On was cut from the butterfly-patterned paper in the Cottage Comforts pack. I just love the soft, dreamy look to this collection! Sage green paper from the Fresh Start paper pack was the perfect color match for matting. A half-and-half mat of sage green and matte gold card stock was employed to echo the sentiment's champagne foiling. The card is embellished with yellow Spring Bling Sparkly Enamel Dots, and finished off with a few glitter pen accents.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you're inspired to go find some fun N2S goodies to mix and match from your stash!
