March Box of the Month Inspiration with Julee

Hello crafty friends! It's time for a little inspiration with this month's Box of the Month. Today I'm sharing two cards I created with the berry themed goodies included in the box.

While coloring wasn't always my go-to, I've really grown to enjoy it over time. The adorable little kiddos in the Berry Best Friends stamp set were just begging to be stamped and colored with my Copic markers! I selected a color scheme of blues, greens, and reds to perfectly coordinate with the beautiful designs in the Yummy Strawberries paper pad.

This first card features this sweet little girl picking berries for some strawberry jam. I have super fond memories of jam making days growing up. I paired the Yummy Strawberries prints with a gingham print from the Summer Gingham paper pad and added the sentiment on a die cut from the EZ Wonder Die #1. I finished off with a few sparkly enamel dots.

My second card was inspired by my twin boys. They just turned 13 and this week was spring break. We've been having lots of adventures and the days shared with them have been really sweet.  I used one of the big, vibrant strawberry backgrounds, then took a strip of the blue paper from the Yummy Strawberries paper pad and used a stencil and stormy sky distress ink to add some clouds to it. Next I used a grass border die on some of the excess greenery from cutting the background and glued it in front and behind my boys. I love how it turned out.

I hope you found a little inspiration here! Have a blessed day.
