Hello everyone! Julee Tilman here, and I'm excited to share a little inspiration with this month's Box of the Month. I absolutely adore the darling gnomes from the Spring Gnomes Ephemera pack, so I paired them with the lovely What's Buzzing paper pack and went to my happy place!
Okay, first things first, I gave my honeycomb paper panel a fun, fussy-cut edge – a little time-consuming, but totally worth it! Then, I slathered on some collage medium so I could get messy with more fun stuff!
My mission was drippy honey. So, I grabbed my Distress Crayons, watercolor pencils, dye inks, and sprays and went to town, creating this gooey, drippy look. Sadly, the hexagon panel hid some of my best drips, but hey, I still love it.That little bee balloon in the ephemera? Adorable, right? I gave it a little Copic marker love to make the colors pop! I also added a couple of busy bees flying around and then stamped the sentiment on a die cut from the EZ Wonder Die #1. For a little extra touch, I randomly stamped those small solid hexagons around the sentiment banner and gave them a black pencil outline. Seriously, this card is so sweet and was a total joy to put together!
