We All Can Use some Self Care

What do you do for self-care? Even if you don't think you have time you definitely should make time because self-care is what keeps us going sometimes.  Listed below are some benefits of self care.

Find at least 1 thing you can do for yourself today! 

Mental and Emotional:

  • self care helps reduce stress
  • can help your mood improve
  • can give you a greater self esteem
Physical:
  • can improve your physical health
  • can improve your energy levels
  • can boost your immune system
Social/Professional: 
  • can feel more confident which may lead to improved relationships
  • can increase your productivity
This month's Paper Pad Club is all about self care. One huge self care activity that I do is to get creative. I feel like my day is not complete if I do not get in my craft room every day. Of course, not everyone can do that if you are a young mom or work full-time. But I challenge you if that is the case to get in there at least once or twice a month to do something creative for yourself. Check out this month's mood board! Self Care is NOT selfish!

I used the Awakenings paper pad from the Monthly Paper Pad subscription (the best value for your money is to subscribe!) and the matching ephemera to create these 2 super quick and easy cards. And don't forget to add in some of our "magical" enamel dots. They give just the right amount of sparkle!
